Christy Morgan

Christy Morgan enters her second season as head women's golf coach for the 2013-14 season. She was hired in May of 2012 to replace Dr. Nicky Boyd.

In her first season as head coach, the Lady Bisons won their second straight Great American Conference championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament. Harding's Emily Plyler became the first Harding golfer, male or female, to advance to the NCAA Division II National Tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla.

An avid golfer, Morgan was a member of the varsity golf squad at Amarillo (Texas) High School.

Morgan received her B.S. degree in elementary education from Harding in 1994, and her M.E. in elementary education from Harding in 1995.

Morgan worked as an adjuct teacher at Harding from 1998-2007, teaching courses in aerobics, swimming, and life guarding.

Christy is married to Harding head men's basketball coach Jeff Morgan. The couple has three children--Davis, Ellie, and Emma.
