AT HARDING
Robert Fear has been Harding's assistant volleyball coach since 2012. Harding has a 263-95 record in his time at Harding and the team has won 20 or more matches eight times.

In 2022, Fear helped lead Harding to the Great American Conference regular season championship, the GAC Tournament championship and a 30-2 overall record.

In Fear's 12 seasons, Harding has seven GAC regular season championships, one second-place finish and three GAC Tournament championships. The team is 148-32 in GAC matches.

BEFORE HARDING
Fear worked as the assistant and head JV volleyball coach at York College in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.  After taking over a team who won six matches in 2009, Fear led York to 14 victories in 2010 and to 22 victories and an NCCAA Regional Tournament appearance in 2011.  He also served as the assistant women's basketball coach during that time.

EDUCATION
Fear graduated from Harding in 2008 with a B.A. in general studies with an emphasis in graphic design. He transferred to Harding from Oklahoma Christian where he played one season of college basketball.

FAMILY
Fear, a native of Burleson, Texas, is married to Meredith (Rosenbaum) Fear, a 2008 Harding graduate. The couple have two children.
