Harding University Athletics

Scott Goode begins his 20th year as Harding's Sports Information Director. Goode graduated from Harding in 1997 with a degree in social sciences.

Goode is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and has been a part of numerous committees.

Goode has worked several national and international baseball tournaments, including the 2006 World Baseball Classic, and served as a media relations intern for the 1996 U.S. Olympic baseball team. He now serves as a consultant to the World Baseball and Softball Confederation for the organization's world rankings. He worked the NCAA II Women's Basketball Elite Eight in 2005 and 2006.

Goode has won national and regional publications awards and has won regional awards for sports writing.

While at Harding as a student, Goode worked for two years in the sports information office as a student assistant. He was the primary contact for baseball and secondary contact for football and basketball. 

Goode is married to the former Cassie Hale, also a Harding graduate. The couple has two daughters, Anna and Caroline.
