CALERA, Ala. - The Harding women's golf team placed seventh of nine teams in the UM Buffalo Wild Wings Classic, hosted Monday and Tuesday by the University of Montevallo at Timberline Golf Club. It was Harding's first tournament of the spring season.
Harding shot 364 on Monday and 363 in round two on Tuesday for a team score of 727. Birmingham Southern won the team competition by shooting 627.
Harding's top finisher was junior Taren Swindle, who placed tied for 19th with an 87-84--171. Natalie Gay placed 24th at 181; Ragan Muncy tied for 25th at 183; and Holly Skelton was 30th at 192.
Jordan Hardy of Birmingham Southern was the individual medalist, shooting 72-75--147.
