SEARCY - Gulf South Conference Player of the Year candidate Rizvan Ceka had a goal and an assist to lead Ouachita Baptist to a 2-0 victory over Harding on Friday night.

Despite the loss, Harding (2-13-0, 1-3-0) can still make it to the postseason with a victory at Christian Brothers on Tuesday. Ouachita Baptist (10-5-0, 3-2-0) clinched their tournament spot with the victory.

Ceka assisted on OBU's first goal in the 30th minute when he headed the ball toward the Harding goal and Payam Pourjavad then sent another header over the hands of Harding goalkeeper Will Reno. It was Pourjavad's second goal of the season.

Harding, which has not scored a goal in its last five games, had several chances Friday. One of the best chances in the game came just over a minute in, but OBU goalkeeper Grayson Townsend saved a point-blank shot from Josh Ireland. In the second half, near misses on headers by Cameron Rose, Austin Brown and Glen Stewart left the Bisons looking for their first goal since Rose scored a game-winner at Hendrix on Oct. 12.

Ceka put the game out of reach in the 82nd minute with his GSC-leading 10th goal of the season.

Friday's game was the final home game for Harding seniors Glen Stewart and Gabe Alexander.
