Lady Bison Basketball Travels to West Georgia on Saturday

SEARCY – The Harding women's basketball heads to Carrollton, Ga., on Saturday to face West Georgia in non-conference action at 3 p.m. The Lady Bisons look for their first road win as they head into the game with a 2-1 record.

West Georgia is a member of the Gulf South East Division and they head into the game with a 1-2 overall record. One of the Wolves losses came against Christian Brothers (GSC West Division Opponent) as they fell 56-53.

Junior guard Sierra Rollins leads the Lady Bisons, averaging 12.0 points per game. She also averages 5.7 rebounds per game and 3.33 steals per game. Junior forward Cherilyn McMenamy leads Harding on the boards, averaging 6.0 rebounds per game.

Junior center Monica Williams leads West Georgia averaging 10.3 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game. The Wolves rank third in the GSC in blocks per game with an average of 5.33.

Harding leads the series between the two teams 1-0. The Lady Bisons defeated the Wolves last season in Searcy 65-40.
