Women’s Basketball Travels to West Alabama on Monday

SEARCY – The Harding women's basketball team continues their road swing on Monday as they head to Livingston, Ala., to face West Alabama at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Bisons head into the game with a 3-1 record.

West Alabama, a Gulf South Conference East Division member, has started the season with a 3-0 record after knocking off top-ranked Arkansas Tech this past Saturday. The Lady Tigers have three players that average double-figure scoring; leading the way is senior guard Mystee Dale who averages 14 points per game. She also averages nine rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Dakota Powell has hit 10-of-22 (45 percent) from behind the three point line this season and averages 12 points per game. Senior forward Latashia Greer averages 11.3 points per game for the Lady Tigers.

Harding is led by junior guard Sierra Rollins who averages 13.3 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game.

The Lady Bisons averaged 19.3 steals per game as senior guard Bailey St. Clair leads Harding averaging 5.3 a game.

Harding leads the series between the two teams 5-3. The Lady Bisons have won the last four meetings.
