CLARKSVILLE, Ark. - The Harding men's tennis team improved to 7-3 on the season Tuesday with a 9-0 victory over the University of the Ozarks. It was Harding's fifth shutout victory.

Harding won all three doubles matches. Ivan Michelli and Adam Edwards combined for the first time to win 8-2 at No. 1. Also teaming for the first time was Aldo Campos and Marco Ruiz, who won 8-1 at No. 2. Freshmen Sammy Lhotak and Corey Stumne remained perfect at 4-0, winning 8-4 at No. 3.

Ruiz played at No. 1 singles for the first time this season and won 6-1, 6-0. Edwards moved to 3-0 at No. 2 with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Michelli won his fifth straight match with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3. Campos remained undefeated in singles at 5-0 this season with a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 4. Stumne went to 3-0 in singles with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 5. Jared Walters won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 and moved to 2-0 in singles this season.

Harding is scheduled to play again Friday at Arkansas-Fort Smith.
