SEARCY – The Harding women's basketball team will wrap up the first half of Gulf South Conference action on Saturday as they host Henderson State at 5:30 p.m., at the Rhodes Field House.

NOTES FOR THE GAME
Harding enters the game with a 13-5 overall record and a 4-2 GSC West Division record after falling 77-67 to No. 5 Arkansas Tech on Thursday.
Junior guard Sierra Rollins leads the Lady Bisons, averaging 14.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. In GSC play, Rollins is averaging 17.7 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
Senior guard Bailey St. Clair is the other Lady Bison averaging double-figures. She averages 11.4 points per game. St. Clair has also stepped up her game in conference play averaging 14.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
Harding ranks in the top 10 in the NCAA Division II in two categories: field-goal percentage defense and steals per game. Harding ranks eighth in field-goal percentage defense (33.7) and ranks ninth in steals per game (14.0). Harding also ranks first in the GSC in both categories.
Harding has a 6-2 record at the Rhodes Field House. The Lady Bisons look for their third straight home win. At home, the Lady Bisons are forcing their opponents to averaging 25.8 turnovers and turning them into 26.4 points.
The Lady Bisons have been hitting the boards. Harding is grabbing the defensive rebound 69.6 percent of the time and the offensive rebound 41.0 percent of the time. Harding is second in the GSC in offensive rebounds averaging 15.9 a game.
If the Lady Bisons pick up the win on Thursday it will be Head Coach Tim Kirby's 100th career win at Harding. Kirby, who is in his 6th season as head coach of the Lady Bisons. has compiled a 99-62 record at Harding.
Henderson State
Henderson State heads into the game with a 11-7 overall record and a 2-4 GSC West Division record after falling to Ouachita Baptist 83-70 on Thursday. In the four conference losses, the Lady Reddies kept it close losing by an average of seven points.
Henderson State has three players that average over 10 points per game. Gianna Woods leads the way averaging 11.8 points and 6.7 rebounds. Jazmine Ellis averages 11.0 points and Nyesha Adams averages 10.1 points.
The Series
HSU leads the series between the two teams 21-18. The Lady Bisons have won the last three meetings between the two teams. Each of the wins, was by one point.
