HU Men's Soccer Hosts Christian Brothers on Sunday

Four Bisons will be honored on Senior Day

Austin Brown is one of four seniors to be honored on Senior Day.

SEARCY – Harding men's soccer goes in search of its second four-game winning streak in program history and cement a spot in the Gulf South Conference Tournament on Sunday when it hosts 21st-ranked Christian Brothers at the Harding Soccer Field. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

GAME NOTES

* Harding enters the game 6-9-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the GSC. The Bisons are currently in fourth place in the conference, and the top four teams make the conference tournament.

* The Bisons have won their last three games, 2-1 over Southwestern Christian, 6-0 over Williams Baptist and 1-0 over Delta State. It is Harding's first three-game winning streak since 2003.

* Harding is 5-3-1 at home this season, with Sunday's game serving as Senior Day. The Bisons will be looking for a school-record sixth home victory.

* Senior Connor Galloway leads Harding in scoring with four goals in only six games played. Junior Jackson Savage has four assists in the last two games and leads the team with five overall.

* Galloway, goalkeeper Zach Auala, defender Austin Brown, and midfielder John Eddy will be honored on Senior Day.

* Christian Brothers enters the game 12-3-0 overall and 3-0-0 in GSC play. The Bucs are ranked 21st nationally and first in the NCAA Division II South Region.

* The Bucs have outscored their opponents 24-13 this season and are led in goals by Jose Ferraz with 11. Tony Aloia has a team-best four assists.

* Harding and Christian Brothers met this season on Sept. 18 in Memphis. CBU won the game 1-0 on a goal by Ferraz in the 34th minute.

* Harding and Christian Brothers are meeting for the 17th time, and the Bisons are seeking their first victory in the series.
