SEARCY - The Harding men's tennis team won its fourth consecutive match Wednesday with a 9-0 shutout of University of the Ozarks at the HU tennis courts.

Harding is ranked 15th in the NCAA Division II South Region and has a 10-1 overall record.

The Bisons easily swept the doubles matches, with the No. 2 duo of Helio Hashimoto and Ivan Michelli continuing their impressive start to the 2010-11 season. The pair is 10-1 overall and has won its last three matches.

Two Bisons--Hashimoto and Alex Ford--extended their singles winning streaks to four matches. Hashimoto won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5, and Ford won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1.

University of the Ozarks is an NCAA Division III school located in Clarksville, Ark. Harding is 40-1 all-time in men's tennis action against Ozarks.
