HU Men's Tennis Falls to Delta State

Adam Edwards won his fifth straight singles match.

CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Harding men's tennis team had its nine-game winning streak snapped Monday with a 7-2 loss at 47th-ranked Delta State.

Harding fell to 15-2 overall and 1-1 in Gulf South Conference West Division play.

The Bisons picked up one point in doubles with the No. 2 team of Helio Hashimoto and Ivan Michelli winning 8-3. The duo improved to 14-1 this season and has won seven straight matches.

Harding's singles point came at No. 6 where Adam Edwards won his fifth straight match, 6-1, 7-5. Edwards has team-high 11 singles victories this season.
