SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury University's Jack Mathis scored from 18 yards out with just over five minutes remaining in the game to give the Panthers a 1-0 victory over Harding on Tuesday in men's soccer action.

The game was the first of four consecutive road contests for Harding (2-2-1), who next meet Delta State on Friday in Cleveland, Miss.

Harding had 10 shots but only Jacob Stevens' first-half attempt was on goal. Senior Zach Auala had four saves for the Bisons, and twice Harding cleared Drury shots off the goal line.

Drury improved to 3-2-0 with the win.
