SEARCY – The Harding men's soccer team plays its second of four consecutive road games Friday at 3 p.m., against Delta State in Cleveland, Miss. Both teams compete in the Gulf South Conference in men's soccer but Friday's game is non-conference. The teams will play again on Oct. 21 in Searcy with that game counting as a conference contest.

- Harding enters the game 2-2-1 overall and are coming off a 1-0 loss to Drury on Tuesday in Springfield, Mo. It was the Bisons' first road game of the season.
- Harding has scored five goals in its first five games, with junior Josh Ireland leading the team with two. The Bisons have eight different players who have five or more shots this season.
- Harding senior Zach Auala has started all five games at goalkeeper. He has a 1.15 goals against average and an .800 save percentage.
- Delta State enters the game 0-5-0 overall and 0-3-0 at home. The Statesmen are coming off a 4-1 loss to Ouachita Baptist on Wednesday.
- Delta State has scored four goals in five games and yielded 13 goals. Flavio Romero has started all five games at goalkeeper and has a 2.60 goals against average and a .639 save percentage.
- Harding and Delta State will be meeting for the ninth time, with Harding leading the all-time series 6-2-0 and have won the last three straight. Harding leads the series 2-1-0 in Cleveland and has won the last two.
