Box Score SEARCY – Northeastern State freshman forward Joel Mendoza scored three goals and senior midfielder Bo White added two goals and an assist to lead the 15th-ranked RiverHawks to a 7-1 victory over Harding on Friday in MIAA action.
It was the final game of the season for Harding, who finished 4-11-3 overall and 2-7-1 in conference.
Harding's goal came from senior
Jackson Savage in the 41st minute and brought the Bisons to within one goal at 2-1. It was Savage's fourth goal of the season and sixth of his career. Northeastern State's lead came on goals from Mendoza in the 22nd and 28th minutes.
The one-goal deficit quickly became larger for the Bisons in the second half. White scored on a free kick just under three minutes into the second half. Mendoza scored his third in the 54th minute.
Northeastern State, who moved into a tie for the regular-season lead in the MIAA, added goals from Crosby Lee in the 69th minute, Juan Peralta in the 76th minute, and White's second in the 87th minute.
Northeastern State had 31 shots, including 20 in the second half. Savage had a team-high four of Harding's nine shots, including all three of the Bisons' shots on goal.
It was the final game in the careers of five Harding players. Savage,

Victor Moya combined to play more than 300 games for Harding and were honored in a postgame ceremony.
