Box Score SEARCY – Ouachita Baptist made four 3-pointers during a key run in the second half and defeated Harding 76-60 on Thursday in Great American Conference women's action at Rhodes Field House.
With 13:52 left in the game, Harding's
Cherilyn McMenamy made a 3-pointer to cut the Ouachita Baptist lead to 41-40. Ouachita Baptist answered with a Domino Miller 3-pointer that jumpstarted 22-5 run. Sarah Pugh, who had only made one 3-pointer all season, connected on two during the run, and Buelah Osueke added another.
Ouachita Baptist led by 12 before Harding ended the run with a pair

The Lady Tigers made 14-of-16 free throws in the second half and led by as many as 20 points.
The loss was Harding's first in 11 home games this season and dropped the Lady Bisons into a first place tie with Arkansas Tech atop the Great American Conference standings.
Harding, who had won its previous seven games, fell to 16-6 overall and 9-3 in conference.
Ouachita Baptist won its fourth straight and moved to 15-8 overall and 8-5 in the GAC. The Lady Tigers are in fourth place, 1½ games behind the leaders.
Freshman
Montana Lewis, the current GAC Player of the Week, had 14 points to lead Harding. Fellow freshman
Tabitha Haney made three 3-pointers and had 13 points.
Nashia James led Ouachita Baptist with 17 points.
