SEARCY – Harding men's tennis is only two points away from begin undefeated after 22 matches. Unfortunately, the Bisons' second loss of the season came Thursday as Harding fell 5-4 to Southeastern Oklahoma State. Both of Harding's losses came by 5-4 scores and both were Great American Conference matches.

The Bisons, 22-2 overall, are now 0-2 in conference play with only 11th-ranked Ouachita Baptist remaining on the conference schedule. That match is next Thursday in Searcy.

All three doubles matches were very close, with two going to tiebreakers and Southeastern Oklahoma winning both. Harding's No. 1 doubles team of Kittibodee Singnil and Jon Mark Rowden lost for only the second time in 12 matches. The Bisons also lost at No.2, also by a 9-8 score, as Henrique Ruiz and Helio Hashimoto fell to 7-2 as a doubles team.

Harding's lone win in doubles came at No. 3 where Adam Edwards and Caleb McReynolds won 9-7. The duo improved to 4-2.
The Bisons came from behind to take a 4-2 lead with three singles wins in straight sets. Singnil at No. 1, Rowden at No. 2, and Edwards at No. 6 remained unbeaten this season in singles play. Rowden is 15-0 and Singnil and Edwards are both 12-0.

Southeastern Oklahoma then began their comeback with a straight-sets win at No. 5 and two three-set wins No. 3 and No.4 for the victory.
