Harding

- Harding has won its last nine home openers.  HU's last home loss came in the 2003-04 when Incarnate Word defeated HU 68-61. Harding has a 22-8 overall record in home openers.

- The Lady Bisons head into the game with a 2-0 record after defeating Arkansas-Forth Smith and Northeastern State over the weekend in the Lady Lion Classic.

-  Harding returns all five starters from last season – junior guard Montana Lewis, junior guard Shana Holmes, junior guard Tabitha Haney, junior forward Arielle Saunders and senior forward Kristen Celsor.

- The Lady Bisons are led by Shana Holmes who averages 13.5 points. Deshelle Isaac-Boyce has come off the bench in both games and is averaging 10.5 point. Kristen Celsor averages 10.0 points for HU.

- Arielle Saunders leads the Lady Bisons on the boards, averaging 11 a game. She led HU with 15 against Arkansas-Fort Smith.  Also in the UAFS game, Saunders broke the Harding all-time blocks record in the first half. Saunders came into the season tied with Bridget Benson (1993-97) with 103. She has recorded two in each of the first two games for the Lady Bisons.

- Harding has five newcomers this season – Taylor Longley, Mackenzie McNamara, A'ndrea Haney, Jackie Bacon and Tanja Steed.

- In the first two games, Harding has outrebounded its opponents by an average of 13. HU had 51 against Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Christian Brothers

- Christian Brothers is located in Memphis, Tenn., and is a NCAA Division II member of the Gulf South Conference. CBU has an enrollment of 1,900.   

- The Lady Bucs head into the contest with a 2-0 record after defeating LeMoyne-Own and Lane.

- Christian Brothers returns four starters from last years squad that went 7-20 – Junior guard Brenna Ridgell, sophomore forward Samantha Reeves, junior forward Amber Williams and sophomore guard Ashley Winston.

- The Lady Bucs are led by Brenna Ridgell who averages 19 points. Senior guard Erica Burgess averages 18 points.  

- Christian Brothers is coached by Sarah Condra who is in her fourth year at CBU.  She has compiled a 20-60 record.

Series

- Harding leads the series between the two teams 22-18. The Lady Bisons have won the last seven meetings.

- In 2012, Harding won the meeting in Searcy 73-50. HU is 13-7 against CBU in Searcy.
