• Harding will play its only non-NCAA opponent Tuesday when it hosts Champion Baptist on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Rhodes Field House. The Bisons have won all eight meetings between the teams.

• The Bisons enter the season ranked No. 25 in the NABC Top 25 Poll. It is only the second time Harding has been ranked in the preseason poll--ranked 21st in the 2006-07 poll.

• Harding is coming off a 72-66 loss to 17th-ranked Northeastern State on Saturday in Tahlequah. The Bisons had five players in double figures led by Hayden Johnson's 13 points. Harding shot 90 percent from the free throw line (18-of-20) but made only 22 percent (8-of-36) from 3-point range, tied for the school record for 3-pointers attempted.

• Champion Baptist enters the game 1-9 overall and coming off a 101-51 loss to the GAC's Arkansas-Monticello. Stephen Hurst scored 19 points for the Eagles, who were outrebounded 39-19. UAM shot 65% from the field to Champion's 35%.

• Harding coach Jeff Morgan, in his 22nd season as a Division II coach, ranks 44th among active D2 coaches with 367 victories.

• Harding and Champion Baptist are meeting for the ninth time with the Bisons leading the series 8-0. All eight of the meetings have been played in Searcy, and Harding's average margin of victory has been 46 points.

• Harding defeated Champion Baptist 92-58 on Nov. 20, 2012 in the last meeting between the schools. The Bisons made 16 3-pointers and made 59 percent from the field. Zach Roddenberry led Harding with 19 points, and Andraz Kavas recorded his first career double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Tony Cochran made four 3-pointers and scored 14 points.

• Champion Baptist was led by Brandon Likins, who scored 22 points and had eight rebounds. Mo Capaci scored 14 points for the Eagles, who shot 34 percent and trailed 46-16 at halftime.

• Champion Baptist is a member of the Association of Christian College Athletics (ACCA) and is located in Hot Springs, Ark.

• Champion Baptist is coached by Eric Capaci. The Eagles are led by seniors Tim Gillespie and Cole Johnson.
