Harding
- Harding has opened their 2013-14 campaign with a 3-0 record. The Lady Bisons are 2-0 on the road after defeating Arkansas-Fort Smith and Northeastern State in the Lady Lions Classic.
- Harding has won its last two conference openers. Last season, the Lady Bisons defeated Southern Nazarene in Searcy 78-64. Harding is 10-6 in conference openers since joining the NCAA in 1997.
- Junior guard Shana Holmes is averaging 13.5 points on the road this season. Senior guard Deshelle Isaac-Boyce finished in double figure scoring in each game as she came off the bench.
- Senior forward Kristen Celsor is coming off a double-double performance against Christian Brothers last Thursday in non-conference action. Celsor had 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Lady Bisons defeated the Lady Bucs 79-66.
- Arielle Saunders leads the Lady Bisons on the boards, averaging 9.7 a game. She led HU with 15 against Arkansas-Fort Smith. Also in the UAFS game, Saunders broke the Harding all-time blocks record in the first half. Saunders came into the season tied with Bridget Benson (1993-97) with 103. She has recorded four this season.
- Harding's newcomer A'ndrea Haney has started in each game at point guard. She is averaging five points and four rebounds and has 10 assists.
- In the first three games, Harding has outrebounded its opponents by an average of 14.3. HU had 51 against Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Southern Nazarene
- Southern Nazarene is located in Bethany, Okla., and has an enrollment of 1,702.
- The Crimson Storm head into the contest with a 2-4 overall record and a 0-1 GAC record. Southern Nazarene is coming off a 72-64 home loss to Arkansas Tech on Thursday. The Crimson Storm has lost their last two games.
- Southern Nazarene has three players that are averaging over 16 points per game. Aminata Fall and Calle Cox both average 16.3 points and Kristen Milster averages 16.2 points. Milster is coming off a 21 point performance against Arkansas Tech.
