SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Harding men's tennis fell 9-0 to 17th-ranked Drury on Monday at the Cooper Tennis Complex. The loss dropped the Bisons to 4-3 on the season ahead of Harding's NCAA Division II Central Region matchup with 25th-ranked Northwest Missouri State on Thursday.
Harding was competitive in all three doubles matches, with the closest match coming at No. 3. Bisons Adam Edwards and Helio Hashimoto fell 8-6 to Jorg Nadal-Volckaert and Sebastian Zapata. Harding's No. 1 team of Kittibodee Singnil and Jon Mark Rowden fell 8-4 to Roman Gonda and Lukas Kriem, the 19th-ranked doubles team in Division II.
Drury (4-0) won all six singles matches in straight sets. Rowden took on Andy Blair, Division II's 30th-ranked singles player, and fell 6-1, 6-3.
