Box Score RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Harding women's basketball team fell at Arkansas Tech 69-67 in Great American Conference action on Thursday. The Lady Bisons fall to 17-8 overall and 13-6 in the GAC.
With the loss, Harding is now tied with East Central for third place in the GAC standings. The top eight teams will advance to the postseason conference tournament held in Bartlesville, Okla., on March 7-10.

Lauren Crenshaw made two free throws to cut the Arkansas Tech lead to one with two seconds remaining. Harding immediately fouled. Arkansas Tech made 1-of-2 free throws to lead by two. Sophomore guard
Shana Holmes' 3-pointer as time expired failed to find the bottom of net to give ATU their seventh straight victory.

Montana Lewis captured her fourth double-double of the season as she led HU with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Junior forward
Lauren Harrison tied a career-high with 12 points and had five rebounds. Holmes and junior forward
Kristen Celsor each had 10 points for the Lady Bisons.
Arkansas Tech (19-6, 16-3 GAC) was led by senior guard Roselis Silva who made three 3-pointers and finished with 16 points. Senior forward Jessica Weatherford had 13 points.
The Golden Suns shot 36 free throws in the game and made 25 (69.4 percent). Caroline Eubanks led ATU making 7-of-13.
Harding forced 19 turnovers in the game and turned them into 17 points. HU scored 15 of the 17 in the first half. The Lady Bisons lead at halftime 37-32.
Harding shot 2-of-9 from inside the arc in the second half as HU made six 3-pointers.
The Lady Bisons will be back in action on Saturday as they host Southeastern Oklahoma State at 2 p.m., at the Rhodes Field House.
