SEARCY – The Harding men's tennis team faces a tough challenge as it opens play at the Great American Conference Tournament on Friday at noon in Bentonville, Ark.

Harding (12-7, 0-3) is the No. 4 seed and will meet No. 1 seed Ouachita Baptist (11-7, 3-0) on Friday at 1 p.m. in the semifinals. The championship is Saturday at 11 a.m.

Harding's lineup as set by head coach David Elliott is: (1) Kittibodee Singnil, (2) Jon Mark Rowden, (3) Alex Ford, (4) Helio Hashimoto, (5) Caleb McReynolds, and (6) Adam Edwards. The doubles lineup is (1) Singnil/Rowden, (2) McReynolds/Matheus Mosquera-Carrascosa, and (3) Hashimoto/Edwards.

Harding and Ouachita Baptist met only once this season with the Tigers winning 9-0 on Apr. 8 in Arkadelphia.
