Harding
· Harding will play the last of three straight home games Tuesday when it takes on 6th-ranked Northeastern State at the Steven Soccer Complex.
· Harding will be looking for a couple of firsts as it MIAA play. The Bisons will be seeking their first victory in 12 games against the RiverHawks and their first victory in 19 games against nationally-ranked teams.
· Harding enters the game 2-2-2 overall and 1-1-0 in the MIAA after falling 3-0 to 21st-ranked Fort Hays State on Saturday. The Bisons trailed only 1-0 at halftime, but the Tigers scored twice on free kicks in the game's final six mintues.
· Harding has scored 11 goals this season, led by three from Ian Park, and have allowed 12 goals. The Bisons are outscoring their opponents 6-4 in the first half but have been outscored 8-4 in the second half.
· Christopher Walker leads Harding with two assists, and Ryan Wilhelm is tops with 18 shots.
· Harding has used two starting goalkeepers this season. Freshman Seth Peterson has made four starts, has a 1.77 goals against average and a .741 saves percentage. Senior Will Lynn has started two games and has a 1.93 goals against average and a .583 saves percentage.
· Junior defender Kevin Pineda is the only Harding player to have played all 588 minutes in the first four games. Defender Gehrig Haberstock is next with 567 minutes played.
Northeastern St.
· Northeastern State is an NCAA Division II school of about 8,000 students and is located in Tahlequah, Okla.
· The RiverHawks enter the game ranked No. 6 in the NSCAA Division II National Poll and ranked No. 1 in the NSCAA Division II Central Region Poll.
· Northeastern State enters the Harding game with a 3-0-2 overall record and a 2-0-1 mark on the road. The RiverHawks have outscored their opponents 15-5 with 10 of those goals coming in the second half.
· Northeastern State is coming off a 2-2 tie against 21st-ranked Fort Hays State. The RiverHawks led 2-0 on goals from Juan Peralta in the ninth minute and Brandon Carter in the 38th minute, but Fort Hays scored twice in the second half to tie the game.
· Peralta leads the RiverHawks with four goals, and Jordan Schmoker has seven of the team's 19 assists. Eric Shephard has started all five games for the RiverHawks in goal. He has a 0.92 goals against average and a .815 saves percentage.
The Series
· Northeastern State has won all 11 meetings between the teams and scored 45 goals to Harding's 13. The RiverHawks won both meetings last season, 3-1 in Tahlequah and 7-1 in Searcy.
· Wilhelm is the only active Bison who has scored a goal against Northeastern State. He has one in four games against the RiverHawks. Adam Borsheim and Gehrig Haberstock both have assists against NSU.
