SEARCY – The Harding men's soccer team came from behind to tie the game 2-2 with 13 minutes left but a goal by senior midfielder Rodrigo Barrientos lifted Dallas Baptist over Harding 3-2 on Thursday in non-conference action at Stevens field.

In the eighth minute, senior forward Ryan Wilhelm was fouled in the box to setup a penalty kick. Wilhelm took the PK and beat the keeper to give HU a 1-0 lead.

Dallas Baptist tied the game in the 17th minute on a throughball that found freshman forward Riley Alvey.

The Patriots were awarded a penalty kick in the 37th minute on a hard Harding foul in the box. Junior David Balyeat converted the PK to put Dallas Baptist up 2-1.

Two quick Harding passes in the 78th minute led to freshman midfielder Jackson Buchanan's first collegiate goal. Buchanan's goal was the equalizer for Harding until Barrientos goal in the 84th minute.

Senior goalkeeper Will Lynn came on in the second half and made three saves.

The Bisons next game is next Tuesday as they host Lyon at 7 p.m., in non-conference action at Stevens Field.
