Harding

Harding plays the first of two fall dual matches Friday at 3 p.m. when it hosts NCAA Division III opponent Rhodes College at the Harding Tennis Courts.

The Bisons have played two fall tournaments – the UAFS Men's Invitational and the ITA/USTA Central Region Tournament. Harding has a 14-12 overall singles record and 6-7 doubles record in the two tournaments.

Harding's men will have several players who could be making their dual-match debuts, including freshman Jared Bolt, sophomore Neto Cacace, freshman Grant Hammons, freshman David Korsten, and freshman Andras Marics.

 

Rhodes

Rhodes is a member of the NCAA Division III Southern Athletic Association and is located in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Lynx compiled a 10-7 record last season, including a 4-3 mark in the SAA.

 

The Series       

Harding leads the series with Rhodes 13-2 overall. The series began with a 5-4 Harding victory in 1975. Rhodes, then called Southwestern College, evened the series with a 6-3 victory in 1976. Harding won the next 10 meetings between 1977 and 2005 before Rhodes won 8-1 in 2006. The Bisons have won the last two meetings, including an 8-1 victory at Rhodes last season.
