SEARCY – Harding men's tennis wrapped up the fall season with a 9-0 victory over Christian Brothers on Monday at the Harding Tennis Courts.
Coupled with a 7-2 victory over Rhodes on Friday, Harding completed its fall dual match schedule 2-0. Christian Brothers fell to 0-1.
Harding won all three doubles matches, including an 8-0 victory by Josh Hurt and Grant Hammons at No. 3. Jon Mark Rowden and Neto Cacace won 8-4 at No. 2 for their team-leading fourth doubles victory of the season. David Korsten and Andras Marics won 8-2 at No. 1 and improved to 2-0 in dual matches.
Harding won all six singles matches in straight sets. Rowden won 6-1, 6-0 over Austin Essary at No. 1 and is one singles victory away from 40 in his collegiate career. Korsten won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and leads the team with five fall singles victories.
Hammons, a freshman, won 6-0, 6-0 over Swamy Sriraman at No. 6 for his first collegiate victory, and Felipe Carbonari won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 and is a perfect 8-0 in singles matches in his career.
