Harding
- Harding is 24-7 in home openers. The Lady Bisons have won the last 10 openers and it will be the third straight year they have opened at home against Christian Brothers.
- Harding is coming off one of the program's best seasons, finishing 29-3 overall and 19-1 in the Great American Conference. The Lady Bisons were the GAC's regular season championship and hosted the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament.
- The Lady Bisons, who are preseason ranked No. 15 in Division II, return three starters from last season – senior forward Arielle Saunders, senior forward Montana Lewis and sophomore point guard A'ndrea Haney. Saunders is Harding's leading returner in scoring (9.3 points per game) and rebounding (9.6). Lewis averaged 8.0 points, and Haney was the Great American Conference's Freshman of the Year.
- Harding lost eight letterwinners from last year's squad including the Central Region Player of the Year Kristen Celsor.
- Suiting up for the first time for the Lady Bisons will be – Mackenzie McNamara (a 6-1 Redshirt freshman forward from Plano, Texas), Correy Moyer (a 5-11 sophomore forward transfer from Texas State), Falan Miller (a 5-10 freshman guard from North Little Rock, Arkansas), Sydney Layrock (a 5-10 freshman guard from Paragould, Arkansas), Lundon Williams (a 5-6 freshman guard from Greenwood, Arkansas) and Abbye Shearmire (a 5-6 freshman guard from Weatherford, Oklahoma).
- Head Coach Tim Kirby returns for his 10th season in 2014-15. He has compiled a 170-90 record at Harding
- In Harding's only exhibition game this season the Lady Bisons fell to NCAA Division I Arkansas State 85-81. Montana Lewis led Harding with 18 points and Correy Moyer added 14 points.
Christian Brothers
- Christian Brothers is located in Memphis, Tennessee and has an enrollment of 1,900. They are also a member of the Gulf South Conference.
- It will also be the season opener for the Lady Bucs on Friday.
- Christian Brothers fell 111-43 to Mississippi in its only exhibition game this season. Breanna Ridgell led the Lady Bucs with 22 points.
- Christian Brothers returns four starters and eight letterwinners from last year's team.
Cameron
- Cameron is located in Lawton, Oklahoma and is a member of the Lone Star Conference.
- The Aggies will take on Arkansas-Fort Smith on Friday before traveling to Searcy on Saturday.
- Cameron finished last season with a 13-14 overall record and placed eighth in the LSC after going 5-11 conference play.
- The Aggies return their leading scorer Jazzmine Robinson who averaged 12.2 points per game. She also averaged 6.0 rebounds.
Series
Against Christian Brothers
- Harding leads the series 24-18.
- Harding won both meetings against Christian Brothers last season. The Lady Bisons won the first meeting 79-66 in Searcy and then 64-61 in Memphis, Tennessee. Montana Lewis scored 12 points in the first game and then 13 points in the second game. She also had 14 rebounds in the series.
Against Cameron
- Harding leads the series 5-3.
- It will the first time the teams have met since 2000 when the Lady Bisons were a member of the Lone Star Conference.
- Cameron won the last two meetings in 2000. The Aggies defeated Harding 73-66 in Searcy and then in the last game they played 84-78, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
