"We made a few adjustments at halftime to get better shots," Harding head coach Tim Kirby said. "The players were telling us coaches what we needed to do and that's good. They saw what was happening on the floor and made the adjustments."
Holmes tied a career-high with five made 3-pointers. Holmes needed four 3-pointers heading into the game to get to 100 in her career. Junior guard Tabitha Haney is the only other active Lady Bison to make over 100 career 3-pointers (114).
"We felt like we could get some open shots for Shana," Kirby said. "In the second half the windows were open a little wider. She gets it off quickly and it was good to see her knock those shots down."
Saunders made 8-of-16 from the field which put her over 300 made field goals in her career.
Harding had 17 assists in the game, led by Saunders and freshman guard A'ndrea Haney who both had seven.
