MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Harding women's soccer team fell to Christian Brothers 1-0 on Friday in non-conference action. The Lady Bisons fall to 0-4-0 on the season.
Christian Brothers (3-0-0) got on the board in the 32nd minute when Chelsea Casaccia took a shot that was blocked by a Harding defender. The ball then fell to Mariana Tonelli who found the back of the net. It was her first goal of the season.
Harding had three scoring opportunities in the game. The first came in the 12th minute when junior midfielder Adair Schmidt took a shot that was saved by Christian Brothers goalkeeper Robyn Wade. The next opportunity came in the 70th minute by Devin Patterson and the last came in the 78th minute by freshman forward Carley Stevens.
The Lady Bisons will be back in action on Sunday as they host Texas Woman's at 1 p.m., at the Stevens Soccer Complex.
