SEARCY - The Harding women's soccer team fell to Hendrix 1-0 on Tuesday in non-conference action at Stevens Soccer Complex. The Lady Bisons fall to 0-6-0 on the season.
After a scoreless first half, Hendrix scored its goal in the 70th minute when Samantha Lallas took a free kick from outside the box. Lallas followed her shot that rebounded off the Harding wall and curled the ball into the back of the net for her 10th goal of the season.
Harding had a goal scoring opportunity in the first half when freshman forward Carley Stevens took a shot from the top of the box that the Hendrix goalkeeper Jordan Rausch had to make a diving save.
Stevens had another opportunity in the opening minute of the second half when she took a shot at the edge of the 6-yard box. The Warriors goalkeeper Rausch had to make another diving save.
Harding had a season-high 22 shots in the game, 10 were on goal. The Lady Bisons had three players with three shots and five players with two shots.
The Lady Bisons will be back in action on Friday as they host Mississippi College at 5:30 p.m., at the Stevens Soccer Complex.
