Harding Team Notes:
Harding junior Andraz Kavas leads the GAC with 18.6 points per game. The last Harding player to lead a conference in scoring was Matt Hall, who led the Gulf South Conference in 2007-08 with 20.7 points per game.

Kavas has scored in double figures 11 times this season, including the last six straight. He has scored 20 or more points four times this season and scored a career-high 33 points vs. Eastern New Mexico on Nov. 29. Kavas has led Harding in scoring in six games, including the last two.

Harding leads the GAC and ranks 12th in NCAA II with 10.2 3-pointers per game. The Bisons have made 10 or more 3-pointers eight times, including a school-record 21 3-pointers vs. Northwestern Oklahoma in Harding's last home game.

Harding also leads the GAC in both assist-to-turnover ratio (1.36) and assists per game (17.2). HU has had fewer than 10 turnovers six times.

Series Notes:
Harding and East Central are meeting for the 18th time with the Tigers leading the series 9-8. The teams are meeting for the ninth time in Searcy, with Harding winning six of those games. The Bisons have won four of the last five in Searcy, but East Central won 98-83 in Searcy last season.

East Central won both regular-season meetings last season. The Tigers won 98-83 in Searcy and 74-69 in Ada, but the Bisons won 77-65 over East Central in the quarterfinals of the GAC Tournament.

Jacob Gibson averaged 14.0 points per game and made 11 3-pointers in three games against East Central last season. Will Francis scored 12.7 points per game and made 14-of-17 free throws. Harding had 51 assists against only 25 turnovers in the three meetings but were outrebounded 103-84.

Opponent Notes:
East Central is 11-4 overall and 6-2 in GAC games. The Tigers are 4-0 in road games this season, with all four wins coming in conference games.  East Central has won six of its last seven overall.

East Central is the highest-scoring team in the GAC, averaging 80.3 points. The Tigers have scored more than 80 points eight times, more than 90 points four times, and topped out at 101 points vs. Southwest Adventist on Dec. 19.

The Tigers have two of the top five scorers in the GAC. Stirling Thomas, a 6-foot, 175-pound junior guard from Elgin, Oklahoma, ranks second with 18.5 points per game. Senior Henry Pwono, a 6-foot-7, 230-pound forward from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, is fifth at 17.1.

East Central shot 403 free throws this season, the most of any team in the GAC and 17th in NCAA II. The Tigers average 27 attempts per game.
