HARDING                                    

- Harding will be looking to rebound after a tough loss at Henderson State on Thursday. The Lady Bisons will host Southern Arkansas on Saturday at 5:30 p.m., in Great American Conference action at the Rhodes Field House.

- Harding will be wearing pink and teal uniforms on Thursday in honor of former Lady Bison Kendra Bailey. In 2011, Kendra lost her battle with ovarian cancer at the age of 28. The team will have a teal Bison on their game shorts in honor of Kendra and the fight against ovarian cancer. Limited number of T-shirts will be on sale for $15 prior to the game in the Rhodes Field House lobby. Proceeds go to Kendra's Voice, a charity started in her name to raise ovarian cancer awareness. - Harding will be playing its first of three home games that remain on Saturday. The Lady Bisons will host Southeastern Oklahoma on Feb. 14 and host Ouachita Baptist on Feb. 28.

- The Lady Bisons moved up to No. 16 in latest poll released on Tuesday. It marks 24 straight weeks Harding has been ranked which dates back to last season. The Lady Bisons have also been ranked 8th, 15th, 20th, 22nd and 25th this season. Harding joins Arkansas Tech (No. 20) as the only GAC schools in the poll.

- Despite the loss on Thursday, Harding stayed in first place in the GAC standings after Arkansas Tech, who was in second place with only one loss, fell at Southern Arkansas 57-52 on Thursday.

- Harding is coming its third loss of the season on Thursday as they fell 91-85 at Henderson State. Freshman guard Lundon Williams came off the bench to lead the Lady Bisons as she tied a season-high with 19 points and tied a season-high with five 3-pointers. Freshman forward Sydney Layrock also came off the bench and scored season-high 18 points. It was the first time in six games Arielle Saunders didn't lead Harding in points.

- The Lady Bisons are led on the season by Arielle Saunders who ranks sixth in the GAC in scoring, averaging 16.7 points and ranks second in the GAC in rebounds, averaging 11.4 per game. She also ranks fifth in the GAC in field goal percentage, shooting 55.0 percent from the field.

- Saunders needs 39 more rebounds to become only the third player in Harding history to have 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Angie Dugger (1993-97) and Nancee Wilson (1989-93) are the only players to accomplish the feat. Saunders currently has 961 career rebounds and is in third place all time at Harding. She needs 161 rebounds to move into second place. Saunders, who is the all-time blocks leader at Harding, needs nine blocks to get to 200 in her career.

- Senior guard Montana Lewis also averages in double figures for Harding. She is second on the team in points, averaging 11.2 per game and second on the team in rebounds averaging 5.8 per game. Lewis needs nine defensive rebounds to get to 400 in her career. She also needs nine steals to get to 100 in her career.

- Sophomore guard A'ndrea Haney has been doing the dirty work for Harding this season. Haney is second in the GAC in assists averaging 3.8 per game and is tied for second in the GAC in steals averaging 2.0 per game. She needs five assists and two rebounds to get to 200 in each category in her career.

- Harding's bench is averaging 25.8 points per game. The Lady Bisons scored 39 points off the bench in the last game against Henderson State. Harding has had its bench score over 30 points in four games this season.

- Harding has hit 130 3-pointers this season which ranks third in the GAC. The Lady Bisons hit a season-high 12 against Henderson State on Thursday. Harding has made 10 or more in a game six times. Freshman guard Lundon Williams leads the Lady Bisons with 30. Montana Lewis is close behind with 25. Williams is shooting 50.3 percent from behind the 3-point line to lead the GAC. Lewis ranks fourth in the GAC, shooting 43.1 percent.

- Harding will look to remain perfect at home this season on Saturday. The Lady Bisons are 10-0 overall at home and 7-0 in the GAC. Harding is averaging 20.5 more points than its opponents at home and 11.4 more rebounds. Arielle Saunders leads the Lady Bisons at home, averaging 18.0 points and 11.9 rebounds.

SOUTHERN ARKANSAS

- Southern Arkansas heads into the game with a 5-13 record and a 3-9 GAC record.

- The Lady Muleriders are coming off a big win over Arkansas Tech on Thursday. Despite only making three field goals in the second half, Southern Arkansas won 57-52. Chanel Miller lead the Lady Muleriders with 13 points.

- Thursday's win snapped a nine game losing streak. Southern Arkansas' other GAC wins came at home against Southern Nazarene 63-42 and Ouachita Baptist 69-67.

- The Lady Muleriders are 1-7 this season on the road. Their only win came at Rogers State in non-conference action 73-63.

- Southern Arkansas is led on the season by Chanel Miller who averages 12.4 points. Rosa Bryant is second on the team in points averaging 12.1 per game and first in rebounds averaging 6.0 per game.

- Chanel Miller ranks second in the GAC in free throw percentage, shooting 88.9 percent.

- As a team, the Lady Muleriders rank first in the GAC in steals averaging 10.9 per game. They had 14 against Arkansas Tech on Thursday. They also rank first in the GAC in offensive rebounds averaging 13.7 per game.

SERIES

- Harding leads the series 38-20.

- The Lady Bisons have won the last 10 meetings, dating back to the 2009-10 season.

- Harding leads the series in Searcy 22-7. The Lady Bisons have won the last 10 game between the two teams in Searcy.

- When the two teams met earlier this season in Magnolia, Harding won 74-53. The Lady Bisons shot 58.0 percent in the game and were led by Lundon Williams who hit 4-of-4 3-pointers to finish with 16 points. Arielle Saunders had 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
