HU Men's Soccer Hosts Central Baptist Tuesday for Senior Night

Series: The series is tied 2-2-1 overall and 1-1-1 in Searcy. Harding won the last meeting 7-1 in Conway in 2013.

SEARCY – Harding hosts NAIA foe Central Baptist on Tuesday in its final home game of the season. The Bisons will honor Curtis Hunt, Josiah Ireland and Christopher Walker, the team's three seniors, in a ceremony prior to the 6 p.m. contest.

HU Team News
Harding enters the game 4-9-1 overall and 2-4-1 at home. The Bisons have won two of their last three games, including a 3-0 victory at Southern Nazarene in Great American Conference play on Saturday. Harding's last home game was a 3-1 victory over Southwest Baptist on Oct. 10.

Junior Jackson Buchanan scored Harding's second goal against Southern Nazarene to extend his school-record streak to five straight games. He also had two assists against Southern Nazarene, his first career multi-assist game. Buchanan's goal was originally awarded to Van Thang, but was later corrected. Game statisticians mistook Buchanan's uniform number "9" for Thang's number "6."

Harding has scored 21 total goals, matching in 14 games its total in 16 games last season. The Bisons have not scored a penalty kick goal this season. Only in 2007 and 2010 did Harding go without a penalty kick goal.

Opponent Team News
Central Baptist, located in Conway, Arkansas, enters the game 3-7-2 overall and coming off a pair of losses in American Midwest Conference play. The Mustangs are 2-3-2 on the road this season and have not played a road game since tying Williams Baptist 1-1 on Oct. 6.
