Harding Men's Soccer Plays Tuesday at Ouachita in Final Regular-Season GAC Game

Series: Harding leads the series 11-6-3 overall. The series is tied 4-4-3 in Arkadelphia. The last meeting in Arkadelphia was the only 0-0 tie in the series.

SEARCY – Harding will take on Ouachita Baptist in its final Great American Conference game of the season Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Arkadelphia High School. Ouachita Baptist has clinched the conference championship and will host the GAC Tournament on Nov. 6 and 8.

If Harding wins, the Bisons will be tied with Oklahoma Baptist for second place in the GAC standings. The team with the better goal differential in GAC games will earn the No. 2 seed in the tournament. If Harding loses, the Bisons will be tied with Southern Nazarene for third place, and again, the team with the better goal differential will receive the No. 3 seed.

Junior Jackson Buchanan has scored a goal in each of the last six games he has played. He scored Harding's lone goal in a 5-1 loss to Central Baptist last Tuesday in Searcy. Buchanan has taken over the team's points lead with 15 (6 goals, 3 assists). Barry Foster is second with 14 points (6 goals, 2 assists).

Buchanan and Josiah Ireland lead the team with three assists each.

Harding has used three goalkeepers this season, with each earning at least four starts. Thomas Shults leads the team with seven starts and has a team-best 1.79 goals-against average and two victories.
