SEARCY – The Harding women's basketball team will open its 2015-16 campaign on Friday when it travels to Lawton, Oklahoma to face Cameron in non-conference action. Tip-off is set for 12:30 p.m.

- Friday's game will be one of only four non-conference games for Harding this season.
- The Lady Bisons are coming off one of its most decorated seasons. Harding won the Great American Conference regular season championship and then won the GAC Tournament championship to earn its second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.
- Harding returns two starters from last year's squad, junior guard A'ndrea Haney and junior forward Correy Moyer. Haney averaged 10.0 points and 3.6 assists per game last season and Moyer averaged 8.1 points and 2.5 rebounds.
- The Lady Bisons return five other letterwinners: sophomore guard Falan Miller (3.1 ppg), sophomore forward Mackenzie McNamara (2.8 ppg), senior guard Kaylee Wiedower (1.6 ppg), sophomore forward Sydney Layrock (8.9 ppg) and sophomore guard Lundon Williams (6.8 ppg).
- Harding played in two exhibition games this season. The Lady Bisons fell to Memphis 82-51 and Arkansas State 79-65. A'ndrea Haney led Harding in points both games.

- Cameron is a NCAA Division II member of the Lone Star Conference.
- The Aggies are coming off one its best seasons. Cameron finished third in the LSC last season with a 12-4 conference record and advanced to play in the NCAA National Tournament.
