COMMERCE, Texas – Harding made a season-high 16 3-pointers but could not overcome Texas A&M-Commerce's strong low-post game in an 85-79 loss to the Lions in non-conference action Thursday at The Field House.

Harding's Reggie Anthony tied the game for the 10th time at 75-75 with 1:53 left in the game. Commerce answered with a 3-pointer from Anthony Adams, and the Lions led the rest of the way.

It was the second straight game between the teams. Commerce defeated Harding 89-87 on Monday in Searcy. Harding had not played consecutive teams against the same team since defeating Alabama-Huntsville in back-to-back games in 2004.

Harding made nine 3-pointers in the first half and second after halftime. The Bisons made 15 3-pointers against the Lions on Monday.

Junior Stefan Andelkovic led the Bisons with 22 points and had six 3-pointers. Will Francis and Blake McNair had four 3-pointers each. Francis scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half and McNair added 14.

Commerce, a member of the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference, made only five 3-pointers but outscored Harding 38-18 in the paint. Anthony Adams led the Lions with 27 points. He was 10 of 15 from the field, made both of his 3-point attempts, and was 5 of 6 from the free-throw line. Bryant Crowder, a 6-foot-9 forward, scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds.

Harding (4-5) returns to action on Jan. 7 when they meet East Central in Ada, Oklahoma.
