The Harding women's basketball team will play its last home game in 2015 on Saturday when it hosts Oklahoma Baptist at 1 p.m., at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House in Great American Conference action.
Harding will be looking to remain perfect in GAC play. The Lady Bisons head into the game with a 3-0 GAC record. Harding is coming off a 70-51 GAC win over Southern Nazarene on Thursday. Junior guard A'ndrea Haney led Harding with 15 points. Junior forward Corry Moyer added 13 and Sydney Layrock and Falan Miller each had 12 points. Mackenzie McNamara came off the bench and grabbed a tied a career-high with nine rebounds.
Harding enters the game with a 4-2 overall record. Oklahoma Baptist heads into the game with a 2-4 overall record and a 1-2 GAC record.
Oklahoma Baptist is coming off an 88-58 loss at Arkansas Tech on Thursday. Arielle Cooper came off the bench to lead the Lady Bison with 15 points, making 5-of-7 from the field. Oklahoma Baptist shot 22 3-pointers in the game and made five.
Harding Team Notes:
Harding is led on the season by Sydney Layrock who averages 16.5 points to rank sixth in the GAC. She also leads the Lady Bisons on the boards, averaging 7.8 rebounds. Two other Lady Bisons average in double-figures as A'ndrea Haney averages 12.2 points and Correy Moyer averages 10.8 points.
