HARDING
- Harding will be making its final regular season trip to Oklahoma this week. The Lady Bisons will face Southern Nazarene on Thursday in Bethany, Oklahoma at 5:30 p.m., and then face East Central in Ada, Oklahoma on Saturday at 1 p.m.
- Harding (17-5, 13-3 GAC) sits in second place in the GAC standings. The Lady Bisons are one game behind Arkansas Tech who has a 14-2 Great American Conference record. Harding has already sealed a spot in the GAC Tournament held in Bartlesville, Oklahoma March 5-8.
- Harding is coming off a 67-59 loss at home to Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday in Searcy. It was the Lady Bisons first home loss of the season as they fall to 11-1 at home. Harding was led in the game by senior forward Arielle Saunders who had nine points and nine rebounds.
- The Lady Bisons are led on the season by Saunders who ranks sixth in the GAC in scoring, averaging 15.6 points and ranks second in the GAC in rebounds, averaging 11.1 per game. She also ranks sixth in the GAC in field goal percentage, shooting 53.5 percent from the field.
- Saunders grabbed her 1,000 career rebound on Saturday. She joins Angie Dugger (1993-97) and Nancee Wilson (1989-93) as the only players to have 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Saunders currently has 1,001 career rebounds and is in third place all time at Harding. She needs 93 rebounds to move into second place. Saunders, who is the all-time blocks leader at Harding, needs three more blocks to get to 200 in her career. Saunders has 1,209 career points and need 32 more points to move into ninth all-time at Harding.
- Montana Lewis also averages in double figures for Harding. She is second on the team in points, averaging 11.2 per game and second on the team in rebounds averaging 5.9 per game. Lewis scored her 1,000 career point on Saturday to become the 15th player at Harding to reach 1,000 points. She also needs seven steals to get to 100 in her career.
- Sophomore guard A'ndrea Haney has been doing the dirty work for Harding this season. Haney is first in the GAC in assists averaging 3.9 per game and is fourth in the GAC in steals averaging 2.0 per game.
- Harding has hit 160 3-pointers this season which ranks third in the GAC. Freshman guard Lundon Williams leads the Lady Bisons with 32. Montana Lewis is close behind with 28. The Lady Bisons also rank second in the GAC in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 36.0 percent. Williams is shooting 43.8 percent from behind the 3-point line to lead the GAC. Corry Moyer ranks sixth in the GAC, shooting 39.0 percent and Lewis ranks ninth, shooting 38.4 percent.
- Harding has lost back-to-back games for the second time this season. The Lady Bisons fell to Cameron and then West Texas A&M at the beginning of the season. Harding followed those losses with an 11 game winning streak.
- Harding's bench is averaging 24.6 points per game. Sophomore forward Correy Moyer leads the bench, averaging 8.4 points per game. Lundon Williams is second, averaging 7.0 points.
