No. 13 Christian Brothers Defeats Harding Men's Soccer 4-1

SEARCY – 13th-ranked Christian Brothers scored two goals in each half and defeated Harding 4-1 on Saturday in non-conference men's soccer action at Stevens Field. Senior Curtis Hunt scored his second goal of the season for Harding in 36th minute.

RECORDS
Harding fell to 1-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 at home. Christian Brothers remained undefeated at 6-0-0.

GOALS
Christian Brothers 1, Harding 0 – 17th minute – Samuel Wilson gave Christian Brothers the lead with his team-leading sixth goal, assisted by Jannick Baumer.

Christian Brothers 2, Harding 0 – 32nd minute – Xavi Lao scored from 18 yards out on an assist from Neil Cummings.

Christian Brothers 2, Harding 1 – 36th minute – Curtis Hunt scored on a corner kick on assists from Josiah Ireland and Aaron Craig.

Christian Brothers 3, Harding 1 – 67th minute – Neil Cummings scored his first goal of the season on assists from Brendan Bennett and Samuel Wilson.

Christian Brothers 4, Harding 1 – 84th minute – Brendan Bennett scored on a penalty kick.

TEAM STATS
Christian Brothers held Harding to a season-low five shots. The Bucs had only 10 shots, the fewest by a Bison opponent this season.

Christian Brothers' goal in the 84th minute was the first penalty kick goal against Harding this season.

INDIVIDUAL STATS
Christian Brothers' Samuel Wilson scored a goal for the sixth straight game and leads the team with six goals.

Curtis Hunt's goal was his second of the season, both on headers coming off corner kicks.
