SEARCY – Freshman midfielder Bethany Sutherland scored in the 31st minute to lead the Harding women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Oklahoma Baptist in Great American Conference action at the Stevens Soccer Field on Thursday.

GOALS
Harding 1, Oklahoma Baptist 0 – 31 minute – Bethany Sutherland collected a loose ball at the top of the box and found the upper right corner of the net.
TEAM STATS
Harding had 24 shots in the game by 10 different players.
Three Lady Bisons played the entire 90 minutes of the contest.
Harding improved its conference opener record to 6-12-0 with the win. It was the second straight year the Lady Bisons have opened conference play with a win. Harding defeated Ouachita Baptist 6-1 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas last season.
Oklahoma Baptist took nine shots by only three players. The Lady Bison took three shots on frame.
INDIVIDUAL STATS
Sutherland's goal was her fifth of the season and it was her third game-winning goal.
Sophomore forward Morgan Springborn took seven shots for Harding and five of them were on frame.
Emmily Infante too five shots to lead Oklahoma Baptist.
