Southern Nazarene Defeats HU Men's Soccer on Penalty Kick Goal

SEARCY – A 59th-minute penalty kick goal from Southern Nazarene's Tommy Fiszel gave the Savage Storm a 1-0 victory over Harding men's soccer Saturday at Stevens Field.

RECORDS
Harding fell to 2-5-1 overall and 1-1-0 in the Great American Conference. Southern Nazarene won for the first time this season to move to 1-6-0 overall and 1-1-0 in conference.

GOALS
Southern Nazarene 1, Harding - 59th minute - After a Harding foul in the box, Tommy Fiszel scored his fourth goal of the season, scoring low to the inside of the left post.

TEAM STATS
The penalty kick goal was the second allowed by Harding this season.

Southern Nazarene outshot Harding 13-8. Both teams had six shots on goal.

INDIVIDUAL STATS
Barry Foster had three of Harding's eight shots, all on goal.
