The Harding women's basketball team will host Henderson State on Saturday in Great American Conference action at 5:30 p.m., at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

Harding holds a 16-9 record against Henderson State at home. The Lady Bisons have won the last nine meetings. The Reddies last win in Searcy came in 2006 when they won 73-72.

Harding heads into the game with a 9-4 overall record and a 7-2 GAC record. The Lady Bisons are in sole possession of second place in the GAC standings. Arkansas Tech sits in first with a 9-0 GAC record. Thursday's game at Southern Arkansas was postponed until Monday due to weather.

Harding is coming off an 80-52 loss at Arkansas Tech on Monday. Sophomore forward Sydney Layrock led the Lady Bisons with 19 points. The Golden Suns held Harding to shooting a season-low 29.6 percent from the field.

Henderson State heads into the contest with a 7-9 overall record and a 6-4 GAC record. The Reddies have won one of its last four GAC games. Its win came against Ouachita 82-69 on Jan. 18.

Harding is led on the season by Sydney Layrock who averages 17.2 points to rank sixth in the GAC. Layrock also averages 6.8 rebounds.
