The Harding women's basketball team is set to host Southwestern Oklahoma on Saturday in Great American Conference action at 1 p.m., at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

Harding is 6-1 at home this season and 5-1 in GAC games.

Harding heads into the game with an 11-5 overall record and a 9-3 GAC record. The Lady Bisons have sole possession of second place in the GAC standings. Arkansas Tech sits in first with a 12-0 GAC record. The top eight teams in the standings advance to the GAC Tournament held March 3-6, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Harding is coming off an 80-77 come-from-behind win against Northwestern Oklahoma on Thursday. Harding trailed by six with 2:53 left but the Lady Bisons stayed resilient and made six straight free throws and played great defense to get the win.

Southwestern Oklahoma heads into the contest with an 11-7 overall record and a 7-5 GAC record.

Harding Team Notes:
Harding is led on the season by Sydney Layrock who averages 17.8 points to rank sixth in the GAC. Layrock also averages 6.7 rebounds.

Southwestern Oklahoma was led by Nina Gregory who came off the bench to score 16 points, making four 3-pointers.
