SEARCY – Southern Nazarene scored in the first five minutes and held on to defeat the Harding women's soccer team 1-0 in Great American Conference action at the Stevens Soccer Field on Wednesday.
RECORDS
Harding falls to 7-5-0 on the season and 4-3-0 in the GAC. Southern Nazarene improves to 4-9-0 overall and 3-4-0 in the GAC.
GOALS
Southern Nazarene 1, Harding 0 – 5th minute – The Harding goalkeeper tried to clear the ball but her kick was deflected off of Kelsi Bussert and it went into the net. It was her second goal of the season.
TEAM STATS
Harding outshot Southern Nazarene 16-9 and took eight corner kicks.
It was the Lady Bisons third straight GAC loss.
INDIVIDUAL STATS
Harding was led by Bethany Sutherland who had five shots, three were on goal.
Jessica Woessner had five saves for Harding.
Kelsi Bussert took four shots for the Crimson Storm as all were on goal.
