The Harding women's basketball team will play its final game of a four-game road trip on Saturday when it travels to Arkadelphia, Arkansas to take on Ouachita at 1 p.m., in Great American Conference action.

Harding is 8-4 on the road this season and 7-2 in GAC games. The Lady Bisons look to finish the four game road trip with four straight wins.

Harding heads into the game with a 14-6 overall record and a 12-4 GAC record. The Lady Bisons have sole possession of second place in the GAC standings. Arkansas Tech sits in first with a 16-0 GAC record. The top eight teams in the standings advance to the GAC Tournament held March 3-6, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Harding is coming off a 71-55 win at Arkansas-Monticello on Thursday. Sydney Layrock led all scoring with 25 points, making four 3-pointers. A'ndrea Haney added 18 points, making 7-of-9 from the field. She also led Harding on the boards with eight and had a career-high seven steals. The Lady Bisons held Arkansas-Monticello's Jordan Goforth, who averages 22.2 points to lead to the GAC, to only nine points.

Ouachita heads into the contest with a 7-15 overall record and a 4-12 GAC record.


Harding Team Notes:
Harding is led on the season by Sydney Layrock who averages 17.9 points to rank fourth in the GAC. Layrock also averages 6.4 rebounds.

The Lady Bisons rank first in the GAC in 3-point field goals made. Harding averages 8.6 made 3-pointers per game. Lundon Williams averages 2.1 per game to rank ninth in the GAC.

Harding ranks second in the GAC in scoring margin averaging 7.6 more points than its opponent. It ranks third in the GAC scoring defense (63.7 points), field goal percent defense (37.8 percent) and 3-point field goal percentage (34.5 percent).

Junior guard A'ndrea Haney ranks 10th in the GAC in free throw percentage, shooting 76.8 percent. Haney has made 97 free throws this season which is second most in the GAC.

Harding ranks first in the GAC in steals, averaging 8.7 per game. A'ndrea Haney and sophomore guard Lundon Williams are one and two in the GAC in steals per game. Haney has recorded 62 steals and averages 3.1 per game to rank first in the GAC. Williams has had 41 steals and ranks second in the GAC averaging 2.1 per game.

Lundon Williams ranks fourth in the GAC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.5). In 20 games, she has recorded 72 assists to 29 turnovers.

Harding ranks seventh in NCAA Division II in fewest turnovers (270).

Lundon Williams ranks eighth in the GAC in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 37.6 percent.

Sydney Layrock scored her 600 career point on Thursday. She needs 11 more rebounds to reach 300 in her career.

A'ndrea Haney needs eight free throws to move into seventh all-time at Harding. Haney has made 286 free throws. She also needs five assists to move into seventh all-time. She currently has 303 assists.

Series Notes:
Harding and Arkansas-Monticello are meeting for the 68th time. When the two teams met earlier this season in Searcy, the Lady Bisons won 71-53. Sydney Layrock led Harding with 18 points. Mackenzie McNamara came off the bench and scored 12 points and led the Lady Bisons on the boards with 11. Harding held Ouachita to shooting 34.6 percent from the field and 30.0 percent from behind the 3-point line. The Lady Bisons made nine 3-pointers and made 8-of-12 free throws.
