Harding Men's Tennis Cruises Past Arkansas-Fort Smith

FORT SMITH, Ark. - Harding men's tennis won its second straight match and posted its second straight shutout of the season with a 9-0 blanking of Arkansas-Fort Smith on Wednesday.

Harding improved to 3-1 with the victory and moved to 2-1 against NCAA Division II teams and in regional matches. Arkansas-Fort Smith lost for the first time and fell to 2-1.

Harding won all three doubles matches for the first time since its season opener against Hendrix. The Bisons have won nine of their 12 dual doubles matches.

Harding won four of the six singles matches in straight sets. Neto Cacace won a third set tiebreaker at No. 3, and Brandon Hogland won in three sets at No. 5.

Adrian Torrico and Chase Stumne remained undefeated at 4-0 in dual singles matches.
