SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Harding women's basketball team made 10 3-pointers and held off Oklahoma Baptist to win 66-60 on Saturday in Great American Conference action.
Five different players finished in double-figure scoring for the Lady Bisons. A'ndrea Haney, Lundon Williams and Mackenzie McNamara each had 11 points. Falan Miller and Sydney Layrock each added 10 points. Williams made three 3-pointers and Mackenzie McNamara and Chelsea Heidebrecht each had two.
Tasha Edge led Oklahoma Baptist with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

Harding improves to 13-6 overall and 11-4 in the GAC. Oklahoma Baptist falls to 9-12 overall and 7-8 in the GAC. Lady Bisons stay in sole possession of second place in the GAC standings. Arkansas Tech sits in first place with a perfect 15-0 GAC record.
FIRST QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Harding led 18-12 after the end of the first quarter. A'ndrea Haney had six points and Falan Miller and Lundon Williams each had five for the Lady Bisons. Harding held Oklahoma Baptist to shooting 22.7 percent from the field. Tasha Edge had five points and five rebounds for Oklahoma Baptist.
SECOND QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Harding led 32-26 at halftime as each team scored 14 points in the second quarter. Chelsea Heidebrecht had four points for the Lady Bisons and Sydney Chrane came off the bench and had three rebounds.
THIRD QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Harding continued to lead after the third quarter 50-41 as they outscored Oklahoma Baptist 18-15. Sydney Layrock and Mackenzie McNamara each made a 3-pointer as Layrock had six points and McNamara had five points in the quarter. Tasha Edge had five points and six rebounds for Oklahoma Baptist.
FOURTH QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Harding held on to win despite being outscored 19-16 in the fourth quarter. The Lady Bisons made 4-of-9 shots and three 3-pointers.
TEAM/INDIVIDUAL STATS
Harding shot 39.6 percent from the field, making 21-of-53 shots. The Lady Bisons went 10-of-24 (41.7 percent) from behind the 3-point line. It was the ninth time this season and the third straight game Harding has made 10 or more 3-pointers in a game. The Lady Bisons have won eight of them.
Oklahoma Baptist made 20-of-66 from the field (30.3 percent) and 11-of-31 3-pointers (35.5 percent).
Oklahoma Baptist grabbed 45 rebounds in the game, 16 of them being on the offensive end. Oklahoma Baptist turned those offensive boards into 17 points.
Harding had 37 rebounds and was led by senior Kaylee Wiedower who had seven.
The Lady Bisons had seven steals in the game, led by Falan Miller and A'ndrea Haney who each had three.
