Harding Men's Tennis Falls 7-2 to No. 19 Nebraska-Kearney

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Harding men's tennis won two of the three doubles matches but dropped all six singles matches and fell 7-2 to No. 19 Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday.

Harding had a three-match winning streak snapped and fell to 4-2 overall. The Bisons are 3-2 in regional matches and against NCAA Division II teams. Nebraska-Kearney improved to 10-0 overall.

Harding's two doubles points came at No. 1 and No. 3. Carlos Crisostomo and Henrique Vieira won 8-5 at No. 1, the duo's third straight victory. Crisostomo and Vieira are 8-3 overall and 5-1 in dual doubles matches.

Brandon Hogland and Chase Stumne won 8-6 at No. 3 and improved to 6-4 overall and 5-1 in dual doubles matches.

Stumne was the only Harding player to push his singles match to three sets, falling 10-5 in a third-set tiebreaker.
