Harding Men's Tennis Plays Three Matches, Two at Home, This Week

SEARCY – Harding men's tennis will play three times in the next four days beginning Wednesday with a home match against NAIA opponent John Brown that begins at 2 p.m.

Harding is 4-2 overall and coming off a 7-2 loss to 19th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday in Overland Park, Kansas.

After the John Brown (1-3) match, Harding will host Arkansas-Fort Smith (2-5) on Thursday at 2 p.m. and will play 14th-ranked Northwest Missouri State (3-1) on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Springfield, Missouri.

Harding has won all 39 of its matches against John Brown, and has a 10-4 record against Arkansas-Fort Smith that includes a 9-0 victory at Fort Smith on Feb. 24. Northwest Missouri State has a 3-2 series lead against Harding.

Harding's top singles player early in the fall season has been sophomore Adrian Torrico, who is 10-3 in singles matches, including 5-1 in dual matches. He is 7-4 in doubles matches, including 4-2 at No. 2 doubles with Neto Cacace.

Junior Brandon Hogland has a team-high 27 singles victories and could reach 30 this week.
